This 39mm Vintage MilSub build is a faithful homage to the legendary 5513 Submariner — reimagined through the rugged lens of military-issued tool watches. The brushed steel case is clean and purpose-built, capturing the essence of the no-nonsense design worn by British Navy divers through the decades.
At its heart is a matte black dial, finished with warm patina gilt markers and pencil hands for that rich vintage tone. A domed crystal and khaki NATO strap round out the classic field-ready aesthetic — perfect for everyday wear or collectors who crave old-world charm.
The bezel is true to the military roots: a bidirectional friction bezel with no teeth and no click, just smooth, silent rotation. Designed for ease of use with gloves, and without the flashy feel of modern divers.
Warranty & Returns
All Vontra watches are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of shipment. This warranty period covers your watch for repair or replacement in case of any manufacturing fault, failure, or defect. This warranty does not cover any issues which arise from abnormal use as outlined below, even during the warranty period:
Orders, Shipping & Duties
Each Vontra timepiece is hand built to order according to your chosen design and specifications. To ensure the highest possible standards, we have a lead time of 3-4 weeks from the date of order to dispatch. This allows us to carry out the necessary quality control procedures and ensure your watch is crafted to your utmost satisfaction. All orders placed through our webstore are subject to the given lead time even if the item is shown as "In stock." Please note that dispatch may occasionally be slightly later due to the uncertainties of parts supply and production, or it could even be earlier!
Shipping
All Worldwide shipments are fully insured with tracking and mainly handled by our delivery partner DHL Express, or other reputable courier services if necessary. Once shipped, you will receive a personal notice with dedicated tracking information. International orders typically take 5 days to be delivered. These times may vary depending on unavoidable circumstances faced by the delivery partner. Shipping charges are calculated upon checkout and may vary depending on the country of destination.
Customs Import Tax for International Customers
International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by your countries import laws. Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost, and are to be borne by the buyer. The buyer is responsible for any associated costs and must abide by their country's laws, regulations, and restrictions. Please note that we cannot refund any customs duties paid if you return your watch. Any duties, taxes, or fees incurred by us will be deducted from your refund. If you refuse delivery, fail to pay required duties, or fail to respond to customs requests - resulting in the shipment being returned to us or abandoned, you will not be entitled to a full refund. Original shipping costs, return shipping costs, and any duties/fees incurred will be deducted from the amount refunded.
